No MooMoo’s! 3rd Trimester Attire

You’ve reached your 3rd trimester and suddenly you are no longer able to touch your toes and to make matters worse, you don’t like any of the maternity clothes you’ve worn for the last couple of months.  The key to looking your best over the next 12 weeks (give or take) is to be comfortable yet stylish.  Yes, I said stylish.  Comfort is the key during this time, but we do not want to abandon style now.  Here are some chic way’s to freshen up your maternity wardrobe and get through the final weeks of your pregnancy.

Kimono and Tunic style tops are flattering and will be easy to wear during this time when your belly is reaching its maximum growth potential.  Convertible styles are also big this season - maternity dresses that are also skirts and reversible fabrics.  This is a great item for maximizing your maternity wardrobe budget and adding different looks at the same time.  Maternity bottoms will be important during this time as well.  Under the belly styles will probably not give you the coverage you’ll need, so opt for the over the belly styles.  If you purchased a bella band at the beginning of your pregnancy pull it back out.  The bella band can be worn in your third trimester to help with holding up maternity bottoms that are a little too big and as a longer layer for tops that are short.

If you are faced with attending a wedding or other function that requires you to look your Pregg-O best, opt for styles that have an empire waist or tie (some styles with ties are long enough to wrap around and tie in the front, giving the outfit a whole new look).  These maternity styles will give you definition while draping nicely over your belly.

With the right choices, style and comfort can be achieved even in your 3rd trimester.
