Energized by the historic inauguration of our new President and in the spirit of positive change, we are proud to announce the launch of “Apple Seed’s Donation Program”. We have partnered with the DC-based Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care, which provides affordable, culturally competent, personalized programs in pre-natal and parental care to DC-area residents, with an emphasis on immigrant populations.

We hope to mobilize our wonderful Moms and Dads to bring used maternity and baby items (from any store or retailer) to Apple Seed and we will donate them to Mary’s Center. As a thank you for making this tax-deductable donation, you will earn Apple Seed dollars towards any purchase in our boutique ($1/per maternity clothing item up to $50 maximum).

Below are the donation guidelines, please review prior to bringing in your items. Apple Seed will provide a tax donation form upon request. For more information about Mary’s Center, please visit www.maryscenter.org.

1. All Items MUST be cleaned prior to donating.
2. Undergarments including nursing wear, underwear, bras, tanks, Bella Bands, and garments with stains, rips, holes or with missing buttons, will not be accepted.
3. All donated garments will be examined and are subject to review by Apple Seed employees before donations are accepted.
